Covenant Information Empowerment Services (CIES Inc) is a faith-based and registered Canadian not-for-profit organisation that offers support services towards fulfilment to Canadian youth, with a predominant focus on immigrant youth who are of Black or African descent. CIES focuses on engendering socialization & acculturation through counselling/coaching, education support, and life skills information and orientation, with an emphasis on providing preventive support services to newly-arrived immigrant/refugee youth in Canada.
We create enriched platforms for individual youth by exposing them to empowering didactic information and education activities captioned Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC), which will help them metamorphosize from learners to thinkers and holistic individuals who are proactive, fearless, resilient, focused and responsible enough to make their society and world great.
This forum is all about Youth Empowerment and Life Preparatory Programs supporting youths towards enlightenment, relevance, and the development of a positive mindset. It is to create through education a passion for service to humanity and ambassadorial commitment to families and nations. It is an experience beyond cognitive attainment, a sure finishing that every young adult must have before setting out into the larger society.
Our Purpose

Our Mission
To use Godly principles, personal experiences, research-based discoveries, tested and proven sound information and intellectual modules to mentor youth who will grow up to be adults who are accountable and responsible enough to make their societies a good place to live in.
Our Core Values
We are passionate about what we do, committed and driven by excellence and a sense of professionalism. We are proactive and act with integrity. Godliness is our utmost guide.
Objectives
The objectives of our program include to:
- Expose youth to educative information that will allow them to continually uphold the values of their society and contribute to economic growth.
- Eradicate the involvement of youngsters in immoral acts and degrading behaviors.
- Support youth to be resourceful, emotionally intelligent and channel their strength towards the good of humanity.
- Encourage youth to willingly desist from negative acts that could affect their mental health
- Encourage youth to see themselves as value adding individuals that contribute to the cultural and social wellbeing of their peers and their community.
Mode of Operation
We organize and coordinate education and information empowerment programs periodically primarily for immigrant youth and students in senior schools, as well as non-immigrant youth. The essence is so youth can identify and avoid damaging behaviors and general vices that can hinder them from being properly integrated into the society and hamper their future. We hope to engage our participants in various tested and proven educative and didactic programs that will enable them to find fulfilment in career and educational pursuits thereby contributing positively to their world.
Through periodic publications and media programs, our programs intend to keep youth positively engaged, focused, expressive and explorative. We canvass for registration through schools, communities, and individual groups. We receive financial support and sponsorship from individuals, groups, communities, corporate organizations, and government (grant).
